Best Brioche French Toast

This French Toast is the pinnacle of French Toasts, the best of the best. I get my brioche from Trader Joe’s, which is pre-sliced. This recipe is so fabulous that you’ll think you are eating dessert. I promise your entire family will be singing your praises all day after enjoying this for breakfast.

1 loaf of sliced brioche

6 eggs

1⁄2 cup half-and-half

1 tablespoon pure vanilla

Step 1: Whisk together the eggs, half-and-half, and vanilla.

Step 2: Melt butter into a large skillet on medium heat.

Step 3: Dunk the brioche into the batter.

Step 4: Place the brioche slice into the skillet. Flip when side #1 is lightly browned. Remove from skillet when side #2 is lightly browned. Continue until all the slices are cooked and golden on both sides.

Dollop the final pile of toast with warm butter and a generous scattering of powdered sugar (or drizzle with syrup of your choice).
