"Welcome" Chocolate Bundt Cake

I have my lovely sister-in-law to thank for this recipe that is chocolatey beyond description. This is, unsurprisingly, Bob’s favorite birthday cake and one I often bake to welcome visitors. It is very rich. The base is chocolate cake mix that gets kicked up a notch with the addition of sour cream and a box of chocolate pudding mix. And because we take our chocolate very seriously around here, I throw in a handful of the best chocolate chips I can find just for kicks. When that first bite of chocolate perfection hits your tongue, you’ll thank me.

1 box chocolate cake mix (I use devil’s food)

1 cup oil

4 eggs

1 cup sour cream

1 cup water

1 large box instant chocolate pudding

6 oz. chocolate chips

Step 1: Preheat the oven to 325°F.

Step 2: Thoroughly grease a bundt pan.

Step 3: Combine all the ingredients together until smooth and pour into the prepared pan.

Step 4: Bake for 45-50 minutes or until a toothpick comes out clean
